SILAS, ALMA CONLEY 

LOS ANGELES - Alma Conley Silas, 94, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003. A native of 
Hammond, she is survived by two daughter, Sharlistine Patterson and Carrie Butler 
of Los Angeles; three sons, Nathaniel Hill of Los Angeles, Donald E. Conley and 
Emiel Conley, both of Hammond. The funeral was today at Rose Hill Mortuary, 3888 
S. Woodmond Mill Road, Whitter, Calif. N.A. James Funeral Home, Hammond, 
contributed the information.

SILAS, ELIZABETH  

Elizabeth Silas, 78, died Saturday, April 20, 2002, at North Oaks Medical Center, 
Hammond. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Martin of Hammond; two sons, 
Willie Andrews of San Francisco and Otis Martin of Hammond; 11 grandchildren 
and 17 great-grandchildren. The Rev. Donald Bell will conduct the funeral today 
at 7:30 p.m. at New Life Outreach Ministry, Hammond. Dismissal will be Wednesday 
at 10 a.m. and burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond, N.A. James Funeral 
Home, Hammond, is in charge.
