She was 91. "Mom" is survived by four children, Carol Lashouto, Camille Stricker, Gasper Joseph Silvestri, Jr., and Michael Wayne Silvestri, along with her thirty-two grandchildren and many brothers and sisters in faith at the Ponchatoula, Louisiana congregation of JehovahÕs Witnesses. Mom was a kind, gentle and loving mother, yet tough and resilient, having lived independently for nearly twenty-five years while battling diabetes and a failing heart. She never turned down a cup of hot coffee and a visit with family or friends. Maw E lived each day with a sweetness and innocence that will be sorely missed and impossible to replace. Mr. Silvestri was a faithful and adored long-time member of the Ponchatoula congregation of JehovahÕs Witnesses. In lieu of flowers her family respectfully requests that donations are made to the Ponchatoula Kingdom Hall Building Fund. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010, at the Kingdom Hall of JehovahÕs Witnesses in Natalbany, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at noon followed by a memorial talk at 1 p.m. *************************************************************************** File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/la/tangipahoa/obits/obitssur/silvestri.txt
