SIMMERMAN, MARYANN LEE HUDSON
Maryann Lee Hudson Simmerman, aged 45, died on November 3, 2006 in Albany.
She was a native and resident of Albany.  Wife of the late Richard
Simmerman, Sr.; mother of Richard Simmerman, II; sister of Barbara Santini,
Marie Hudson, Catherine Matherne, and Michael Hudson; sister-in-law of Osie
Santini and Larry Breazeale; aunt of Crystal and Ashley Santini and Bridget
Carter; daughter of the late Melvin F. and Shirley Foster Hudson;
daughter-in-law of Wallace Simmerman and the late Lorraine Simmerman.
Family and friends are invited to Geisler Funeral Home in Albany on
Thursday for visitation from 9 a.m. until the religious service at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Hammond.

SIMMERMAN, ORA J. 

PUMPKIN CENTER - Ora J. Simmerman, 73, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2002, at her 
home. She was a native of Baptist. She was a retired from the Hammond 
State School, and a member of New Life Baptist Church. She is survived 
by her husband, Wallace Simmerman Sr.; three daughters, Mary Ann Taylor 
of Livingston, Debbie Hampton and Sue Daniels of Killian; two sons, Ed 
Stewart of Albany, and Kevin Stewart of Roxie, Miss.; two sisters, 
Elizabeth Owens of Baptist, and Helen Hoover Garon of Albany; 10 
grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 
her parents, Jim and Bessie Owens; sister, Beatrice Owens; brothers, 
Smiley and Oscar Owens and Edward "Boss" Stewart. Visitation will be 
Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. 
at Geisler Funeral Home, Albany. Carlin Sanders will conduct the funeral 
at 1 p.m. Burial will be in New Beulah Cemetery, Baptist.

SIMMERMAN, WALLACE
Wallace Simmerman, 83, of Hammond, LA passed away February 15, 2012 
surrounded by his family and will be sadly missed.  He was born June 7, 
1928, in Como MS the son of the late Ethel Crenshaw and Katie Simmerman. He 
was one of 15 children.  Mr. Simmerman was a 34-year member of the Masonic 
Grand Lodge # 466 in Albany, LA. He was also a member of Victory Baptist 
Church in Hammond, LA.  His daughter Tina Williams of Laurel MS, Grand- 
children; Christina Hampton of Hammond, LA Michael Barrera of Hammond, 
IND, Robert Macloud of Natalbany, LA Brandon Macloud of Hammond, LA and 
Richard Simmerman of Hammond, LA; Great Grandchildren; Ashley and Caitlin 
Hampton of Hammond, LA, Jakub and Nikolas Barrera, Hammond, IND and Great 
Great Grandson Ayden Wallace Hampton of Hammond, LA. His Sisters Cecilia 
Morris and Lillian Holt of Batesville, MS, survive him.  His wife Lorraine 
Lytle Simmerman of 42 years and wife Ora Simmerman of 10 years; His 
Children Carol Riley, Wallace Simmerman, JR , Larry Simmerman and Richard 
Simmerman, precede Mr. Simmerman in death.  A graveside service will be 
held at Ponchatoula Cemetery in Ponchatoula, LA at 1:00 pm. On Friday, 
February, 17, 2012.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the 
Victory Baptist Church 43385 N. Little Italy Rd Hammond, LA 70403.  An on-

SIMMERMAN, WALLACE "JR", JR.
Wallace "JR" Simmerman, Jr. was born on March 26, 1952 and passed away at
the age of 56 on April 19, 2008.  He was a native of Blue Island, Illinois
and a resident of Pumpkin Center. He is survived by one daughter Christina
Hampton of Pumpkin Center, his father, Wallace Simmerman, Sr. of Pumpkin
Center, a sister, Tina Simmerman of Laurel, MS, and 2 grandchildren.  He
was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Simmerman, 2 brothers, Larry
and Richard Simmerman and 1 sister, Carol Reiley.  Visitation will be on
Monday, April 21, 2008 at Geisler Funeral Home in Ponchatoula from 
6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The service will be Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at
Geisler Funeral Home in Ponchatoula at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in
Parklawn Cemetery.
