Damien is survived by his dearly beloved wife, Iris "Lee" Simoneaux; 2 precious sons, Donte & Tommy Simoneaux; adoptive parents, Harry & Lena Simoneaux; biological parents, Michael Marchase (deceased) & Lori Limberg; 2 sisters whom he dearly loved, Adrian & Laura; plus 13 foster brothers and sisters. He was born in LaPlace, on Thursday, January 16, 1930, son of the late Antoine Simoneaux and Elva Cortez Simoneaux. Mr. Simoneaux was a retired Plant Operator with St. John Parish Sewerage District. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Lena Ann Granier Simoneaux; 9 children, Ronald, Laura and husband, Guy L. Joiner, John, Kelly, Kenny, Kaye, Dee Dee, Dock, and Adrienne; 5 foster children; 24 grandchildren, Moe, Brandon, Shannon, Julian, Destinee, Dana, Jesse, Nicole, Gypsy, Elmer, Vanessa, Ryan, Savannah, Victoria, Stephen, Cheryl, Josh, Jayson, Brianna, Charleigh, Rosie, Johnny, Donte and Thomas, 6 great-grandchildren, a sister, Irene Hebert; and a brother, Lawrence Simoneaux. He was preceded in death by his son, Damien Simoneaux; and his brother, Sherman "Buck" Simoneaux. Graveside visitation is scheduled Saturday, February 7, 2009, at the Cooper Cemetery - Cooper Cemetery Rd. - Robert, LA, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. Services will begin at 12 p.m., with Rev.
