SINGER, JENNIFER JONES
Mrs. Jennifer "Cookie" Jones Singer, 60-years-old of Ponchatoula, died
Monday, September 25, 2006 in North Oaks Medical Center.  She was born
Sunday, July 17, 1946 in Ponchatoula, daughter of the late Sidney Sr. and
Leona Achord Jones.  Cookie was a loving mother and grandmother and an
exceptional homemaker. She touched many lives through her kindness and
compassion. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Surviving are
her two sons, Steve and Jeff Lavigne; two daughters, Bridgette L. Landry,
Melissa L. Fowler; 10 grandchildren, Paige, Kayla, Lauren, Will, Aaron,
Branson, Braylon, Brant, Mollie and Cole; sister, Dianne J. Milton; and her
two brothers, Bobby and Mike Jones.  She was preceded in death by her
daughter, Jennifer Paige Lavigne; two brothers, Sidney "Pee Wee" Jones Jr.,
Kenneth "Skeeter" Jones.  Friends will be received Thursday, September 28,
2006 at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula from 6:00 p.m.
until 10:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 29, 2006 from 8:00 a.m. until
10:00 a.m.  Services will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in
Ponchatoula on Friday, September 29, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will
follow in the Ponchatoula Cemetery.  Email condolences to:
