SIPLE, ALBERT NEWMAN
One of the pioneer settlers of Hammond, Albert Newman Siple, 80, died 
Monday at the Wiginton Memorial Hospital.  He was a native of Lester, Iowa,
born July 23, 1870; had resided in Hammond since October 1890.  He was a
charter member of the Happy Woods church.  Funeral services were Tuesday
from the Thomas Funeral Home.  Burial was in Greenlawn cemetery.  Surviving
relatives include two brothers and two sisters; one son, Otis of New York
City; one daughter, Thelma Coleman.
