He was born March 13, 1929, in Independence. Mr. Sirchia was a United States Army Veteran and served during the Korean War. After living in California for many years, he returned home to retire. Mr. Sirchia was also a member of the St. Joseph's Society. Surviving are his sister, Annie Bourg; sister-in-law, Jimmie Busby Sirchia; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and a very special great-nephew, Landon Woods. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emile Sirchia and Josephine DiMaggio Sirchia; sister, Antoinette Sirchia Woods; infant sister, Annie Sirchia; brothers, Johnny, Tony, and Paul Sirchia.
