SISSON, ROSE ANDERSON 
Rose Anderson Sisson of Ponchatoula died Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, at North
Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. She was 97, born April 26, 1908, in Galvez,
the daughter of the late James and Idellar Harwell Anderson. She was a
member of First Baptist Church, Ponchatoula. She is survived by her
daughter, Dorothy Holmes Rouse of Ponchatoula; sister, Nellie Anderson
Boudreaux of Ponchatoula; four grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, a
niece and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest
Sisson; daughter, Jeanette Sisson; sister, Doris Jarrell; and brother,
Alvin Anderson. Friends will be received Thursday, Oct. 13, at First
Baptist Church, Ponchatoula, from 9 a.m. until service at noon, with the
Rev. Jake Roudkovski officiating. Interment in Ponchatoula Cemetery. E-mail
