SMALL, COLUMBUS
A resident of Greensburg, he departed this life on Saturday, July 9, 2011, 
at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 78. Visitation at Pipkin 
Chapel Church, 276 Chapel Road, Greensburg, on Tuesday, July 12, from 
1 p.m. until religious service at 4 p.m., conducted by the Rev. R. 
Brumfield. Interment in Clinton Cemetery, Greensburg. Survived by his 
nieces, Dildred Womack and husband Larry, of Greensburg, and Callie 
Addison and husband Jerome, of Zachary; nephews, Bob Fondren and Johnny 
Fondren, both of Tangipahoa, Lorenza Small Jr. and wife Trenyse, of 
Jackson, Miss., Ray Charles Fondern, of Tennessee, and Ronnie Fondren, of 
Hammond; two sisters-in-law, Clara Baker Small, of Greensburg, and Pearl 
Small, of California; and a host of other relatives and friends.

SMALL, NATHANIEL, SR.
A resident of Baton Rouge, he died Thursday, April 12, 2007, at LSU Medical
Center. He was 55 and a native of Waterproof. Visitation at Leonard Chapel
A.M.E. Church, Independence, on Tuesday, April 17, from 11 a.m. until
religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Wardell Dyson Jr.
Interment in Hookfin-Womack Cemetery, Kentwood. Survived by his wife,
Patricia Dyson-Small; son, Nathaniel Small Jr.; daughter, Linda Small; four
sisters, Azalee Small, Charlotte Mason, Lela Ross and Bertha Skinner;
brother, Jessie Small; mother, Emmarett A. Skinner; stepfather, Sam Skinner
Sr.; and godchildren, Arleisha and Ken Jackson Jr. Preceded in death by his
father, Abe Small Sr.; brothers, Abe Small Jr., Henry James Small and
Samuel Small. Arrangements by Richardson Funeral Home, Amite.
