Tommy Leonard Smith Sr., 83 years old of age living in Hammond, Louisiana, passed away, Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Live Oak Village in Hammond. He was a member of the United States Army and served in the Korean War from 1951-1953. He also had a 35 year career in the railroad industry beginning with the Kansas City Southern Line Railroad Company, he was appointed in 1979 the first State of Louisiana Railroad Inspector. He ended his career with the Federal Railroad Administation in the late 90's. Mr. Smith was also a 32 degree Mason. Surviving are sons Tommy L.
