SOELL, JOSIE
Josie Soell passed away on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at her residence in 
Covington at the age of 56. Josie grew up in Independence and had lived in 
Covington for the last few years. She was an accounts manager with Forest 
Manor Nursing Home in Covington.  Josie leaves behind her sons, Ryan 
Guzzardo, Brad Guzzardo and wife Catherine; step-children, Pricilla Soell 
Dean and husband Matthew, Robert Soell III and Don Soell, along with her 
grandchildren, Megan and Brianna Lee, Katlyn Soell. She is also survived by 
her brothers, Otto and Danny Maurer, as well as, numerous nieces and 
nephews.  Preceding Josie in death were her parents, William and Josie 
Lashouto Maurer; brother, Charles Maurer.  Relatives and friends of the 
family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. 
Thompson Funeral Home, west of Hammond, on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, from 
6 p.m. until 9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Mater 
Dolorosa Catholic Church in Independence on Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at 
9 a.m. Fr. Howard Adkins will celebrate the Mass and interment will follow 
in Colonial Cemetery in Independence.  Condolences and other information

entrusted to Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home of Hammond.
