SOLEY, JESSE "J.W."
Age 73 and a resident of Hammond, Jesse passed away on Tuesday, September 
11, 2012 at North Oaks Medical Center. He was a loving father, grandfather, 
great-grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed dearly. Jesse 
leaves behind his wife, Linda Buxton Soley; daughters, Sandra Hackney & 
husband Joseph of Hammond, Marilyn Hall & husband Arthur of Ponchatoula; 
sons, Thomas Soley & wife Dorothy of Robert, Richard Soley & wife Laura of 
Livingston, Gary Soley & wife Sherry of Hammond; sisters, Susie Louise 
Hutchinson, Mary Lindsey; brother, Jesse Sylvester Soley; step-children, 
Kevin, Chris, Jason & Kendall Whittington; 15 grandchildren, 7 great-
grandchildren. Preceding Jesse in death was his first wife, Maxine Bennett 
Soley; parents, Jesse and Mary Soley; sisters, Ruby McAllister and Ruth 
Traylor; step-grandson, Daniel Paul Whittington. Relatives and friends of 
the family are invited to attend the visitation at First Pentecostal Church 
of Hammond, on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. 
The visitation will resume on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. 
until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Rev. W. J. Holland and Pastor Brent 
Holland will conduct the funeral service and interment will follow in 
Little River Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Condolences and other information
