SOLOMON, ANNIE MAE BURTON "ROCK" 
On Thursday morning, Oct. 30, 2008, the angel of death came to North Oaks 
Hospital in Hammond and bore the bright spirit of Sister Annie Mae Burton 
"Rock" Solomon. Visitation at Angelic Funeral Home, Roseland, on Tuesday, 
Nov. 4, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral at Mount Canaan Baptist Church, 
Roseland, on Wednesday at 11 a.m., conducted by Elder John Smith, pastor.

SOLOMON, HAROLD 

FLUKER - Harold Solomon, 51, died July 19, 2000, in Fluker.He was a laborer 
and a native of Fluker.Survivors include his wife, Mary Alice Solomon, 
Fluker; two daughters, Gwendolyn Solomon, Arcola, Jennifer Solomon Fluker; 
four sons, Frank Moore and James Solomon, Fluker, Henry Solomon, Amite, 
Harold Solomon Jr., Colorado; six sisters, Augustine Ruffin, Roseland, 
Bobbie Haynes, Hammond, Mary Harris, JoAnn, Shirley andBetty Solomon, 
Fluker; brother, Lionel Solomon, Fluker; and 10 grandchildren.His mother, 
Carrie Bell Solomon; father, Frank Solomon; and two brothers, Wallace and 
Edward Solomon, preceded him in death.The Rev. Elton Strickland will 
conduct the funeral Friday at 11 a.m. at Angelic Funeral Home, Roseland, 
and burial will be in Fluker Chapel Cemetery, Fluker.
