SOROLA, DANIEL G. 

AMITE - Daniel G. Sorola, 61, died Sunday, June 21, 1998, at his home. He was a 
native of San Antonio and a retired U.S. Marine Corps veteran of Korea and 
Vietnam. Survivors include his wife, Betty Sorola, Amite; two daughters, Linda 
and Mardalena Sorola; two sons, Joseph and Daniel Sorola, Jr., all of San 
Antonio; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; five stepchildren, Tammy 
Alford, Amite, Janice Shirley and David Naudoin Jr., bot of Des Allemands, Sandi 
Thompson, Monroe,Julie Jones, magnolia, Ark; six step-grandchildren; mother, 
Leonard Sorola, San Antonio; and sister, Margaret Buskmanta, San Antonio. His 
father, Gilbert Sorola; son, John E. Sorola; two brothers, Gilbert Jr. and John 
Sorola; and sister, Mary Young, preceded him in death.  Visitation will be at 
McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral at 11 
a.m.  The Rev. Dean Martinwill conduct the service, and burial will be in 
Friendship Cemetery, Amite.
