She departed this life on Dec. 29, 1999. Visiting at Turner's Chapel AME Church, off La. 1042, Greensburg, from 10 a.m. Saturday until religious services at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Stanley J. Carter. Interment in the church cemetery. Survived by her mother, Lela Gordon, Greensburg; her husband, Allen; two sons, Romaro and Brandon; a daughter, Mallory, all of Los Angeles; four brothers, Exavier, James, Thomas and Earnest; eight sisters, Veronica, Dewilda, Ida, Beverly, Janet, Elaine, Gladys and Vanessa; a grandson, Romaro Jr.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved her and will miss her very much.
