She was a lifelong resident of Tickfaw prior to her stay at Harvest Manor Nursing Home in Denham Springs. She was born Friday, November 21, 1930, in San Jose, California, daughter of the late Frank Bua and Josephine Man Bua. Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Theresa S. and David Strate, Sr.; 3 grandsons, David Strate Jr., and Calvin and Kevin Strate; 2 great granddaughters, Alexandra and Madison Strate, 2 brothers, Paul and Frank Bua; and a sister, Sadie B. Scaglione. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Sparacello and brothers, Joe, Jake, Mike and Little Frank Bua and a sister, Anna Santangelo. Friends will be received from 8:30 a.m. until services at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond on Thursday, February 22, 2007. Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Pompeii Cemetery, Tickfaw.
