SPIZALE, CATHERINE KLEIN 

LAFAYETTE - Catherine Klein Spizale, 87, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at 
Lafayette General Medical Center. A native of Hammond, she had lived in New 
Orleans most of her life and resided in Lafayette for 10 years. She was a member 
of the St. Mary Catholic Community. She is survived by three sons, Charles Micele 
of Panama City, Fla., Stephen Spizale of Littleton, Colo., and David Spizale of 
Lafayette; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-
grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Vincent C. Micele; 
her second husband, Charles F. Spizale; her parents, Fritz and Annette Boyer 
Klein; a sister, Mary Francis Wobbe; and a great-grandchild. Visitation will be 
at Martin & Castille Funeral Home, Lafayette, tonight from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 
rosary at 7, and Friday from 9 until Mass at 11 a.m. The Rev. Thomas P. Voorhies 
will conduct the service. Burial will be in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille. In 
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Spizale's name may be made to 
Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnson St., Suite 200, Lafayette, LA 70503.
