SPURLOCK, ALONZO
Natalbany -- Alonzo Spurlock, 22 days old, died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004.
He is survived by his mother and father, Angela Spurlock and Lawrence
Jackson, both of Natalbany; two sisters, Aaliyah Spurlock of Natalbany and
Lanisha Jackson of Hammond; and one brother, Keiangelo Spurlock of
Natalbany.  Darnell Johnson will conduct the funeral Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
at Beacon Light Baptist Church.  Burial will be at Holly Gardens Cemetery,
Hammond.  Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge.

SPURLOCK, JAMES BERNARD 

AMITE - James Bernard Spurlock, 56, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, at 
Lallie Kemp Medical Center. He was a native of Amite. Survivors include his 
wife, Bertha Mae Spurlock; son, Mario Kenterell Given, both of Amite; two 
daughters, Shewanda L. and Alice Givens, New Orleans; sister, Lillie S. 
Bell, Wilson; brother, Henry Spurlock, Wilson; mother, Willie Mae Drake, 
Wilson; and three grandchildren.His father, Johnny Spurlock; three brothers, 
a sister and his grandparents, preceded him in death. Visitation will be at 
Emmanuel COGIC, Amite, Sunday, from 5 p.m. until the funeral at 7. Herbert 
Harrell will conduct the service. Dismissal will be Monday at St. Paul No. 
2 Baptist Church, Wilson, and burial will be in Ruth Cemetery, Wilson.

SPURLOCK, JOHN
John Spurlock, age 67, a native of Tickfaw, died Dec. 12 at North Oaks
Medical Center.  Surviving are wife Joyce Ann Spurlock; daughters Marie and
Charmaine Spurlock, Carolyn Cooper and Elaine Carlson; sons Ronald and
Donald Spurlock and David Johnson; and sister Mary Lee Clayton.  He is also
survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  He is preceded in
death by mother Louise Spurlock, grandmother Ethel Lee Ike, father Joe
Spurlock and grandfather John Ike.  Visitation will be at N.A. James
Funeral Home in Hammond on Dec. 16 from 3 to 8 p.m. Services will be held
at the funeral home on Dec. 17 at 11 a.m.  Interment will follow at Holly
Gardens Cemetery in Hammond.
