STAMPER, JOHN WILLIAM
Funeral services for John Stamper will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 24, 2010, 
at Centerville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Adams officiating. 
Burial will follow in the Griffin Hills Cemetery in Lone Pine. Arrangements 
are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. Mr. 
Stamper, 61, of Tickfaw, passed away Friday, May 21, at his home. Survivors 
include a son, John W. Stamper Jr., of Hammond; a sister, Sherry Ann Gobert
and her husband, Wilfred, of Erwinville; a brother, Donald Stamper, of 
Russell Springs, Ky.; two nieces, whom she loved very much, Michelle Gobert
and Andrea Kent and husband David; nephews, T.J. Comeaux and Charles David
Kent; special nieces-in-law, Rebecca McCarroll and Aaliyah Calkins; and his 
loving caregiver, Vicky McCarroll, of Hammond. Friends may call at 
Centerville Baptist Church on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Monday 
from 8 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be made at
