Stamps, succumbed Tuesday at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans. She was born in Brookhaven, Miss., the daughter of the late William D. and Delphine Penn Larkin. She celebrated her 85th birthday in August. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 22, at Thomas Funeral Home; interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. John Drott of Hammond; one son, Jesse O. Stamps of New Orleans; three grandsons, Jesse, Joe and Billy Stamps; one granddaughter, Mrs. T. O. Sharp of Baton Rouge; two great, granddaughters, Terry Sharp and Suzanne Sharp.
