CYR, BETTY Age 78 and a longtime resident of Springfield, Betty was born on April 5, 1934 and passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at her residence. She was retired from J.C. Penny's in Hammond after many years of dedicated service and was a member of Springfield Baptist Church. Betty and her loving husband, Glenn had recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. Betty leaves behind her husband, Glenn St. Cyr; three children, David St. Cyr, Glenda St. Cyr Griggs and Bryan St. Cyr, along with her grandchildren, Dana Love, Ryan, Matthew, Ashley, Hunter and Carl St. Cyr; six great- grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Mickie Huszar, Lucy Kinchen, Sally Stewart, Farley Kinchen, Leonard Jerry Kinchen and Warren Kinchen and Orlan "Shorty" Rogers. Preceding Betty in death were her siblings, Bobbie Kinchen, Georgia Hernandez, Gladys Kinchen, J.L. Kinchen, Annie Ray Kinchen and Helen Kinchen; parents, Leonard and Mary Ellen Kinchen. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the religious services from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, west of Hammond, on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., with visiting hours beginning at 12:00 p.m. Rev. Wilmer Goodwin will officiate the services, assisted by Rev.
