STECHMANN, CARL
Carl Stechmann, 73, father of Mrs. Charles Lamantia of Hammond, passed away
Sunday, February 4, at the Wiginton Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services
were held Monday from the P. J. McMahon Funeral Home in New Orleans.  He
was a native of Konigstein, Germany and had been retired for a number of
years.  During the past two years he had made his home with his son-in-law
and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lamantia in Hammond.  His wife was the
late Katie Heber.  He is survived by two sons, Karl of New Orleans and
Anton of Houston, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Lamantia of Hammond and
Mrs. J. E. Lanasa of New Orleans; one brother, Jacob Stechmann of New
Orleans; and three sisters who still reside in Konigstein, Germany.
