He was born on Tuesday, September 7, 1948, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Surviving are his wife, Betty Leonard Sticker and daughter & son-in-law, Amy S. and Jeremy Robinson; sons & daughters-in-law, Gerald and Sherry Sticker, Jason and Sonya Sticker; 7 grandchildren, Justin Sticker, Joshua Sticker, Katie Robinson, Trevor Robinson, Ethan Sticker, Evan Sticker, Emma Sticker; mother, Eunice Osborne Sticker; brothers, Wayne Sticker, Jerry Wright; and his sister, Ann Sawyer. He is preceded in death by his father, Everett Sticker. Friends will be received Thursday, March 18, 2010, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Friday, March 19, 2010, from 8:00 am until 10:00 am at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. PIERSON A loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her, Dorothy passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at North Oaks Medical Center at the age of 61. She was a native of Natalbany and a resident of Ponchatoula. She will be greatly missed. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Glenn Ray Sticker, Bedico; son and daughter-in-law, Gerald Wayne and Karin Burns of Denham Springs; daughters and sons-in-law, Sheryl Chatellier and Jewell of Bedico and Robin Price and Michael of Ponchatoula; her precious grandchildren, Brandi Naquin, Savannah Burns, Lance Ferrant, Meghan Burns, Jewell Chatellier Jr, Cameron, Christopher and Kylah Price. Also surviving her are two sisters and brother, Norma Pierson Murphy of Robert, Cathleen Pierson Powell of Natalbany, and Charlie Pierson and his wife Donna of Natalbany along with numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was also survived by three step-children, Tammy, Michelle and Ricky Sticker of Bedico. Final rites were held at the Holy Guardian Angel Church at Bedico; interment was in Edwards Cemetery with the Thomas Funeral Home in charge. He was born April 12, 1913, the son of the late Rufus B.
