STIERWALD, JOY ESLER
Mrs. Joy Esler Stierwald, 79 years old of Hammond, formerly of New Orleans,
died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at her residence.  She was born on
Wednesday, September 17, 1930, in New Orleans, daughter of the late Harry
and Josephine Walgamotto Esler.  Surviving are her 3 sons, 3 daughters and
numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death
by her husband, Raymond E. Stierwald Sr.; son, Raymond E. Stierwald Jr.; 
2 sisters, Josephine Carrone and Norma Wiltz.  Friends will be received
Wednesday, December 30, 2009, from 9:00 am until the service begins at
10:30 am at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.  Interment
will follow in the Colonial Cemetery Mausoleum in Independence.  An on-line
