STORTZ, CYNTHIA LEE
Cynthia Lee Stortz, 52 years old of Hammond, LA, died Monday, February 9,
2009 at her residence.  Cynthia was born on Friday, December 28, 1956 in
New Orleans.  Surviving are daughter & son-in-law, Dana Holmes Thibodeaux
and Patrick Thibodeaux; daughter, Brandi Penalber; son, Randy Penalber Jr.;
Cynthia's father who died the day after her, Sidney J. Stortz Sr.; 3
brothers, Sidney J. Stortz Jr., Harold A. Stortz and Michael D. Stortz; 4
grandchildren, Zachary Trey Housley, Kaylie Thibodeaux, Kelsi Cox and Jacob
Thibodeaux.  She is preceded in death by mother, Janice Couroleau Stoltz;
son, Danny Holmes Jr.; twin sisters who died at birth, Jerry and Joan
Stortz; grandparents, Sidney and Thelma Naro Stortz and John and Hazel
Courouleau.  Friends will be received Thursday, February 12, 2009, at the
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula from 6:00 p.m. until 
10:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until services.  Services will be
held in the funeral home chapel, Friday, February 13, 2009 at 1:00 p.m.
with Rev. Mike Tuminera officiating.  Interment will follow in the
Ponchatoula Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454.  In lieu of flowers a
memorial fund has been set up at any Regions Bank, to the estate of Cynthia

STORTZ, SIDNEY JOSEPH, SR. "BUBBY" 
Sidney Joseph "Bubby" Stortz Sr., 71 years old of Ponchatoula, LA, died
Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in North Oaks Medical Center.  He was born on
Sunday, February 21, 1937 in New Orleans.  Surviving are 3 sons, Sidney J.
Stortz Jr., Harold A. Stortz and Michael D. Stortz; brother, John Stortz;
also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  He is preceded
in death by ; wife, Janice Courouleau Stortz; daughter Cynthia L. Stortz;
brother, Harold Stortz; sisters, Gloria Dorman and Beverly Crawford; twin
girls, Jerry and Joan Stortz; grandson, Danny Holmes.  Friends will be
received Thursday, February 12, 2009, at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral
Home in Ponchatoula from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Friday from 
8:00 a.m. until services.  Services will be held in the funeral home chapel
Friday, February 13, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Tuminero officiating.
