He was 71, born Dec. 19, 1933, in Sunflower County, Miss. He was a native of Marigold, Miss. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, on Saturday, June 18, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Visiting continues at Oak Grove Church of Christ, Independence, on Saturday from noon until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Dale Ziebarth. Interment in Loranger Community Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Jane Arnold Story of Loranger; six daughters, Janice Diez of Colorado, Margaret Tucker of Baton Rouge, Deborah Ortega and Conny Carnes, both of Arkansas, Norma Dyson of Ponchatoula, and Myra Overmier of Loranger; a son, Charley Story of Ponchatoula; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jack Story of Michigan.
