She was a native of Robert. She is survived by four daughters, Anna Cowart of Hammond, Nell Lawson of Livingston, Dorothy Sloan and Christine Grimes, both of Plant City, Fla.; 14 grandchildren, 27 great- grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Strahan; one son, Joseph Strahan; two daughters, Luther Mae Mitchell and Joyce Leatrice Strahan; three grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.
