He was 86 and a native of Bay St. Louis, Miss. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Emile Tusso. Interment in Loranger Cemetery, Loranger. Survived by his wife, Mary M. Straughan, Loranger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
