STREETY, LILLIS MERRIAN
Mrs. Lillis Merrian Streety, 80 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, died
Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Belle Maison Nursing Home, Hammond.  She was
born on Friday, May 18, 1928, in Dunn, Texas, daughter of the late Ellis
House and Mary Jane Jordan House.  She was a Homemaker.  Surviving are
daughter & son-in-law, Dianne LaRue Streety and husband, Larry Jacobson; 2
sons & daughters-in-law, Douglas Leon and Dawn Streety, and Doyce Wayne
"Corky" and Theresa Streety; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and
her girls, Chi Chi and Sweet pea.  She was preceded in death by her
husband, Clifford Leon Streety; and a son, James Larry Streety.  Friends
will be received Saturday, May 31, 2008, at the Harry McKneely & Son
Funeral Home in Hammond from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Services will be held at
Funeral Home Chapel at 4 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Dietrich officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hillside Memorial Gardens, in Snyder, Texas at
a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to:
Alzheimer's Association - Louisiana Chapter - 2605 River Rd. - New Orleans,
