Burial was in Pike Memorial Gardens, McComb. Mrs. Sturdivant died March 26 in Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center at McComb. She was a member of the Methodist Church and worked extensively in Theatrical Management of Louisiana for 20 years and was employed at Wal Mart of McComb for 10 years. She was an avid lover of the outdoors and wildlife. Survivors are a daughter, Annette Wilkinson of McComb; a stepson, Louis W. Sturdivant of Eagan, Minn.; two brothers, John D. Lanier Jr. of Yerrington, Nev., and Douglas W. Lanier of Kemp, Texas; and two grandchildren, on step grandchild, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was a native of Ponchatoula and a resident of Loranger. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra A. Wright; a son, William E. Sturdivant, Jr. and a daughter in law, Nancy Sturdivant; 2 grandchildren, Ellen and John Eubanks. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Sturdivant, Sr.; 3 brothers, Jacob Mattix, George Mattix and William Mattix.
