She was born on Monday, Aug. 4, 1947, in Willoughby, Ohio. Surviving are her two sons, Thomas Bartley of West Virginia and Anthony Archer of North Carolina; daughter, Dawn Rodriguez of Loranger; sister, Shelia Bartley of Mississippi; 3 brothers, Ronald and Douglas Bartley of West Virginia, Randy Bartley of Michigan; and 5 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Sturm; parents, Nannie Mozella and Carl Bartley; son, Steven Jack Archer; sister, Darcell Bartley; and brother, Jeff Bartley. She is survived by her parents David and Marie Sturm, 3 brothers Shawn Michael, Kaden Lee-Brice, and James Austin Sturm, grandparents, Mildred Goss, Freddy Richards, Charles Thomas and Carlette Thomas, great-grandparents, Virginia Dean, Vic Noto, Ruie Drake, Lillie Goss. She is also survived by Uncles Jesse Thomas (Sherry), Lawrence (Margie) Richards, Michael (Annie) Sturm, Aunts Charity Richards, Jennifer (Chris) Wasilewski and other numerous great aunts, uncles, and friends. Also Lee Nickerson and Lee Chauney. She is preceded in death by her great-grandfathers Charles Thomas Sr. and James Goss. Visitation will be Monday, April 6, 2009 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at 1st Baptist Church, Independence, LA. Funeral Services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Bro. Mitch Williams will be officiating.
