She was a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and retired postmistress of Manchac and a member of Des Allemands Mennonite Church. Survivors include her sons, Richard Stratman of Manchac and Hugo Succow Jr. of Ponchatoula; her daughters, Donna Rogers, Tickfaw, and Diane Melling, Manchac; her sisters, Theresa Fountain, Cedar Rapids, and Joyce Webb, Texas; 11 grand- children and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugo Charles Succow, her daughter Darlene Ellis, her son Tony Succow, her brother, Buss Adams and her sisters, Audrey Allard and Kate Bixby. Visitation will be today at Geisler Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from noon until the service at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Wetmore Cemetery in Ponchatoula.
