SUMMERS, BRIAN KEITH  

SULPHUR - Brian Keith Summers, 38, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001. He was a 
native of Ponchatoula and a student at McNeese University studying early 
childhood development. He is survived by one daughter, Emily Ann Summers 
of Livingston; his mother, Margaret Broussard of Sulphur; one brother, 
Aaron James Broussard of Sulphur; one sister, Kristi Lynn Broussard of 
Sulphur; and his maternal grandmother, Hazel Smith of Ponchatoula. He was 
preceded in death by his father, Deril Summers; paternal grandparents, 
A.B. and Grace Summers; and maternal grandfather, Norris Smith. Visitation 
will be today at Robison Funeral Home, Sulphur, from 4 to 9 p.m. Marvin 
Douglas will conduct the funeral at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be 
Friday at Ponchatoula Cemetery.

SUMMERS, KATHERINE HERMANN
Katherine Hermann Summers, age 96, died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 23,
2007, at Flannery Oaks Guest House in Baton Rouge. She was a native of
Hammond and a retired South Central Bell telephone operator with 22 years
of service. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and
Alfred S. Guitrau, Denham Springs; two sisters, Lillian Hermann, Hammond,
and Helen Bullington, Red Bluff, Calif.; brother and sister-in-law,
Clarence and Julie Hermann, Hammond; three grandchildren, Mary Alice
Guitrau, Alfaretta, Ga., and Paul Guitrau and wife TJ, and Roger Guitrau
and wife Cindy, all of Denham Springs; four great-grandchildren, Katie,
Kevin, Allison and Ashley Guitrau, all of Denham Springs; and two great-
great-grandchildren, Kaylie and Aaron Guitrau. She was preceded in death by
her parents, Nick and Katie Hermann; and brothers, Louis and Herbert
Hermann. Visitation at Geisler Funeral Home in Hammond on Saturday, May 26,
from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in
Greenlawn Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the Flannery Guest House
employees for their wonderful care of Mrs. Summers. In lieu of flowers,
contributions may be made to First Christian Church of Hammond or the

SUMMERS, LUCILLE CLORAINE 
A resident of Ponchatoula, she died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, at North Oaks
Medical Center in Hammond. She was 81, born Sunday, July 8, 1923, in New
Orleans, the daughter of the late Edward C. Hart and the late Irma
Glounder. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Thomas E. Summers
Sr.; two sons, Thomas E. "Tommy" Summers Jr. of Robert and Michael R.
"Mike" Summers Sr. of Kenner; two daughters, Sue S. Chelette of Ponchatoula
and Peggy A. Peacock of Madisonville; sister, Irma Fitzgerald of Port St.
Lucie, Fla.; niece, Freyer Caffareo Bufkin of Grantville, Ga.; 11 grand-
children and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at Harry
McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Hammond, from 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan.
20, until service at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Billie Kennedy officiating.
Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie.

SUMMERS, PEGGY JOYCE 

McCOMB, Miss. - Peggy Joyce Summers, 63, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, at 
McComb Extended Care, McComb, Miss. She was a member of Worldwide Church of 
God and a housewife. She is survived by her husband, Vernon L. Summers, 
McComb; a son, Glen Dale Summers, Summerdale, Ariz.; three sisters, Merle 
Reid, Jayess, Miss., Iris Ashcraft, Natchez, Miss., and Juanita Mathews, 
McComb; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, John 
Henry and Cora Estelle Wyles; and a brother, John Daniel Wyles. The Rev. 
John Novick conducted the funeral Friday, and burial was in Hollywood 
Cemetery, McComb. The family request donations be made to the charity of 
one's choice. Hartman Funeral Home of McComb was in charge.
