She was 83. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Danny Smith and Chaplain Maj. Michael Coggins. Interment in Spring Creek Cemetery, Spring Creek. Survived by four nieces, Frances Griffin, Kentwood, Dianne Smith Strickland, Hammond, and Rachel Coggins, Warner Robins, Ga.; a nephew, Deloy Smith Jr., Kentwood; and numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. Preceded in death by her husband, James B. Sumrall; parents, Nuah and Eula Simmons Smith; brother, Deloy Smith Sr.; and a special greatniece, Raina Bryan. Pallbearers will be Mark Varnado, Richard Forrest, Brannon Forrest, Dusten Smith, Jesse Strickland, Clifton Bryan, Clayton Bryan and Nathan Coggins. ***************************************************************************
