SUTTER, KATHARINE EUSTIS  

Katharine Eustis Sutter, 81, died Thursday, June 13, 2002, at Land Mark Nursing 
Home, Hammond. She was a native of New Orleans. She is survived by one daughter, 
Kitsy Schwartzmann, Hammond; five sons, Stenning and Gleeson Murphy, both of 
Picayune, Scott Murphy and Clifford Sutter, both of New Orleans, and Malcolm 
Sutter of Atlanta, Ga.; and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 
husband, Ernest Sutter; her parents, Cartwright and Sudie Hellwege Eustis; four 
brothers, Cartwright, Ebo, Scott and Horatio Eustis; and one sister, Sudie Eustis. 
A memorial service was held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Chapel in New 
Orleans. Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
