SWAIN, BOBBY DEAN 

Bobby Dean Swain, 73, died Saturday, June 9, 2001, at North Oaks Medical Center, 
Hammond. He was a native of Morris, Okla., and a retired oil field consultant. 
He is survived by two sons, J.B. and Richard Eugene Swain, both of Hammond; three 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, 
Alice Compton Swain; his parents, Guy and Pansy Chadwell Swain; two sisters, Doris 
Elizabeth Smith and Doris Jean Carter; and one brother, Jack Swain. Visitation 
will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond. A 
graveside service will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Resthaven Cemetery, 
Lubbock, Texas.
