SWINDLE, PAULINE
A resident of Kentwood, Pauline Swindle died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June
24, 2009, at Hood Memorial Hospital in Amite. She was 79, a native of
Itawamba County, Miss. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, on
Friday from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Interment in
Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood. Survived by her daughter, Peggy Vick, Red Bay,
Ala.; son, Gene Swindle, Kentwood; sister, Helen Ridings, Neddleton, Miss.;
three brothers, Herman Burton, Golden, Miss., Sherman Burton, Neddleton,
and Dennis Burton, Hamilton, Ala.; five grandchildren and 12 great-
grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Elzie Swindle; parents,
Theodore and Lona Burton; two grandsons, Brian Vick and Steven Vick; and

SWINDLE, PEARL PENDLEY

A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1998, 
at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 85 and a native 
of Lynn, Ala. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, 1 p.m. until 
religious services at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by Brother Don McGee. 
Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood. Survived by two daughters, 
Barbara Gaut Graham, Baton Rouge, and Gail Swindle Ragusa, Independence; 
two sons, Gary E. Gaut, San Antonio, Texas, and Ronald W. Gaut, Baton 
Rouge; seven grandchildren, Kim Lowery, Dana Bass, Wendy LeBlanc, Gary 
Gaut Jr., Debbie D'Alessandro, Brent Ragusa and Hunt Ragusa; and three 
great-grandchildren, Keeley Lowery, Michael D'Alessandro and Mark 
D'Alessandro.
