He is survived by a son, Michael Sylve of Loranger; two daughters, Kim Weber and Pam Boudreaux, both of LaPlace; three stepdaughters, Pamela Johnson, Patricia Buckley and Phyllis Partain; two brothers, Louis Sylve of Harvey and Robert Sylve of Metairie; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Sylve; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence A. Sylve. Visitation is today at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. A Mass will be Saturday at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Donations may be made in memory of Sylve to the American Heart Association or Masses. *************************************************************************** Obituary published in The Hammond Daily Star on: 4/05/2002 SYLVE, PAUL MIAMI - Paul Sylve, 67, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2002. He was a native of Baptist and a veteran. Survivors include two daughters, Veronica Sylve Tucker of Columbus, Ga., Stephanie Sylve McWilliams of Hopkinsville, Ky.; three sons, Richard Sylve of Japan, Hilliard Sylve of Hopkinsville and Paul Sylve of Lynchburg, Va.; three brothers, Thomas Sylve of Annapolis, Md., James Sylve Sr. and Bernard Sylve Sr., both of Hammond; his mother, Henrietta Sylve; 14 grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, John Sylve; one brother, Clarence Sylve; and one sister, Rosa Mary Moye. The Rev. Samuel Brown will conduct a memorial service Saturday at Richardson's Funeral Home, Hammond, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Holly Garden Cemetery, Hammond. ***************************************************************************
