SZCZESNIAK, EDWARD JOSEPH
A resident of Independence, he passed away at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20,
2008, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Covington. He was 86, a native of
Chicago and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Survived by his wife,
Antonia Szczesniak, Independence; two sons, Jeff Seznak and wife Kathryn,
Independence, and Greg Seznak and wife Kathleen, St. Peters, Mo.; three
grandchildren, Carey Seznak, Kelly Seznak and Veronica Seznak; two sisters,
Lorraine Burregi, Chicago, and Mary Ann Hermann, Palatine, Ill.; brother,
Raymond Szczesniak, Culver City, Calif.; nieces and nephews, Fran Matise
and husband Anthony, Joe Triolo and wife Sarah, Gerard DiMarco, Ciro
DiMarco, Tony Valure, Phillys O'Hara and husband Gary, and Pat Maitykra and
husband Bob. Preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Adeline
