He made his own personalized fishing bait to use whether he was fishing with friends in a bass tournament or just fishing by himself. He was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church in Albany. A lifelong resident of Albany, Sonny passed away at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond, on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at age 68.
