He was born on Friday, October 26, 1923 in Hammond. Mr. Tantillo was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Hammond. Surviving are 3 daughters, Dianne Tantillo, Becky Tantillo and Sheila Tantillo; son & daughter-in-law, Vic and Margaret Hodgson Tantillo; granddaughter, Heather Tantillo Billiot; great-grandson, Austin Billiot and 3 sisters, Phil Fazzino, Catherine Demarco and Santa Vullo. He is preceded in death by his parents, Florence Graziano and Vick Tantillo; wife, Leona Ferrara Tantillo; granddaughter, Hunter-Dee Hoose and 2 sisters, Rose Mele and Annie Piediscalzo. Friends will be received Monday, November 10, 2008, at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Hammond, Monday, November 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Ed Everitt, O.P. officiating.
