TAUNTON, MARY W. 

RIVER RIDGE - Mary W. Taunton, 89, died Monday, March 26, 2001, at Doctors 
Hospital. She was a native of Robert and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star 
and Crescent City Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Jerry W. Taunton; two 
siblings, Murphy J. Williams and Naomi Mock; a grandson and two great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. Taunton; her parents, Julie 
Pierre and Oscar Williams; and siblings, Ernest, Avery and Enos Williams and Susie 
Moffitt. Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m. at Lamana-Panno-Fallo 
Funeral Home, 1717 Veterans Blvd. at Bonnavel Boulevard, Metairie. The funeral 
will be Friday at 10 a.m., and burial will be in St. Rock Cemetery, Loranger.
