He was a native of New Orleans, a cemetery maintenance employee with the New Orleans Archdiocese for 22 years and a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church in Albany. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Frommeyer Teal of Holden; his former wife, Lisa Welbrock of Ponchatoula; one adopted son, Joshua Fiorello of Holden; one stepson, Michael Laylle of Hammond; three daughters, Jennifer Teal Laylle and Stephanie Chiusano, both of Hammond, and Sherilyn Chiusano of Holden; two brothers, Gary Taylor of Sun and Theodore Teal of Violet; two sisters, Sharon Wilkens of River Ridge and Linda Bordelmeier of Illinois; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elise Luquet Teal; his stepmother, Elizabeth Dobard; one brother, Brother Taylor; and one sister, Shirley Schell. Visitation will be today at Geisler Funeral Home, Albany, from 6 to 10 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until 12:50 p.m. The funeral will be at St. Margaret Catholic Church, Albany, at 1.
