TENHAAF, CHERYL ANN 

PONCHATOULA - Cheryl Ann Tenhaaf, 46, a native of Iowa City, Iowa, and resident 
of Ponchatoula, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 1998, at North Oaks MedicalCenter, 
Hammond. Survivors include a son, Tommy A. Tenhaaf, Ponchatoula; her parents, 
George and Jacqueline Johansen Tenhaaf, Ponchatoula; her grandmother, Lavina 
Tenhaaf, Burlington; six sisters, Connie Tenhaaf, New Orleans, Sandy Sandifer, 
Waggaman, Karen Polen of Burlington, Iowa, Vickie Camardi and Cindy Tenhaaf, 
both of Ponchatoula, and Tracey Tenhaaf, Kenner; two brothers, Terry and Gary 
Tenhaaf, both of Ponchatoula. Visitation will be at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral 
Home, Ponchatoula, Monday from 6 until 19 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the 
funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.

TENHAAF, JR.  GEORGE MERLEA U.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he died Thursday, May 20, 1999, in 
Hammond. He was 75, native of Burlington, Iowa and a resident of Ponchatoula. 
Visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. 
Monday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Tuesday. 
Interment in Sand Hill Cemetery, Ponchatoula. Survived by his wife, Jacqueline 
Johansen Tenhaaf, Ponchatoula; three sons, Terry Tenhaaf, Tommy Tenhaaf and Gary 
Tenhaaf, all of Ponchatoula; six daughters, Connie Tenhaaf, New Orleans, Sandy T. 
Sandifer, Waggoman, Vickie T. Camardi, Tracey Tenhaaf and Cindy Tenhaaf, all of 
Ponchatoula, and Karen T. Polen, Burlington; a brother, Harry Tenhaaf, Monmouth, 
Ill.; two sisters, Helen Weilbrenner and Ruth Wyborny, both of Burlington; his 
mother, Lavina H. Tenhaaf, Burlington; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 
and numerous other relatives. Preceded in death by his father, George M. Tenhaaf 
Sr.; and a daughter, Cheryl Ann Tenhaaf.
