TENNY, ADA NESOM

16 Jan 1931; p. 1, col. 6:  Mrs. Ada Nesom Tenny, 72, wife of Dr.
J. W. Tenny, died 13 January in Ponchatoula.  Funeral 13 Jan. in
Ponchatoula; interment in Springfield Cemetery.  Survived by
husband; two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Young of Ponchatoula and Mrs.
J. Henkle of Amite.

TENNY, DR. JOHN W.

26 Oct 1934; p. 1, col. 3:  Dr. John W. Tenny, 81, Ponchatoula
retired dentist, died in Ponchatoula, Monday from injuries
received in auto accident on 9 Oct.  Born in Chapel Hill, SC.
His wife died in 1931, at the age of 73.  They had no children.
Survived by sister-in-law, Mrs. J. E. Young of Ponchatoula; a
nephew, E. E. Young; two nieces, Mrs. Clara Abbott of Ponchatoula
and Mrs. Boxley Tudor of Alexandria.  Funeral 23 Oct at
Ponchatoula; interment in Springfield Cemetery.
