She was born Saturday, June 9, 1945, in Springfield, daughter of the late Sidney and Elsie Hollingsworth Hill. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Leon Theard of Pumpkin Center; two sons, Bryan Theard of Pumpkin Center and Aaron Theard of Pineville; three sisters, Janet Perricone, Lucille Fisher and Bernadette Dean, all of Ponchatoula; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, on Wednesday, Dec. 27, from 9 a.m. until service in the funeral home chapel at noon, with the Rev. Stacy Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery, Pumpkin Center.
