THEARD, DORIS EVELYN "DOT" 
Doris Evelyn "Dot" Theard, 61, died on Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006, at her home
in Hammond. She was born Saturday, June 9, 1945, in Springfield, daughter
of the late Sidney and Elsie Hollingsworth Hill. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Leon Theard of Pumpkin Center; two sons, Bryan
Theard of Pumpkin Center and Aaron Theard of Pineville; three sisters,
Janet Perricone, Lucille Fisher and Bernadette Dean, all of Ponchatoula;
six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, on Wednesday, Dec. 27, from 
9 a.m. until service in the funeral home chapel at noon, with the Rev.
Stacy Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the Jerusalem Baptist

THEARD, SIBLE STEVENS

A resident of Hammond, she died Saturday, July 13, 2002, at Belle Maison 
Nursing Home. She was 92 and a native of Monticello, Miss. Visitation at 
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from noon until religious 
service at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Bob Deich. Interment in 
Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Survived by a son, Leon R. Theard Jr., Pumpkin 
Center; and two grandsons, Bryan and Aaron Theard, both of Ponchatoula. 
Preceded in death by her husband, Leon R. Theard Sr.; a granddaughter, Tina 
Ridgell; parents, Percy and Lou Ella Boutwell Stevens; and two brothers, 
Claude and Herbert Stevens.
