Visiting will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Wednesday, Dec. 8, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will resume on Thursday, Dec. 9, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Eugene Gullett. Interment will follow in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Galvez. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Joe Thibeau, of Jackson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Wayne Bernard, of Hammond, and Stephanie and Jason Haynes, of St. Amant; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Janet Thibeau, of Plaquemine; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Raymond Cooley, of Baker, and Terri and Tim Withers, of Stockton, Calif.; two brothers, Doug Barnes, of Greensburg, and Robert Barnes, of Baton Rouge; 13 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Thomas and Marjorie Wallace Barnes; three brothers, Tommy, Mickey and Billy Barnes; and a sister, Bonnie Nell Barnes.
