THIBEAU, MARCILLE BARNES
A homemaker, a native of Magnolia, Ark., a resident of Jackson and a former 
resident of Pleasant Hill, she passed away Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, at her 
residence in Jackson at the age of 61. Visiting will be held at Ourso 
Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Wednesday, Dec. 8, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and 
will resume on Thursday, Dec. 9, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 
1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Eugene Gullett. Interment will follow in 
Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Galvez. She is survived by her husband,
the Rev. Joe Thibeau, of Jackson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and
Wayne Bernard, of Hammond, and Stephanie and Jason Haynes, of St. Amant; a 
son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Janet Thibeau, of Plaquemine; two sisters 
and two brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Raymond Cooley, of Baker, and Terri and 
Tim Withers, of Stockton, Calif.; two brothers, Doug Barnes, of Greensburg, 
and Robert Barnes, of Baton Rouge; 13 grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Thomas and 
Marjorie Wallace Barnes; three brothers, Tommy, Mickey and Billy Barnes; and 
a sister, Bonnie Nell Barnes. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Special 
thanks to Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge and a very special thanks to the 
congregation of Port Hudson Baptist Church and Donna Gale. Please visit
