He was born on September 14, 1932, in New Orleans, son of the late Frederick and Aurelia Clark Thiemann. Mr. Thiemann was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, a retired Field Representative for Social Security and a past Grand Knight at the John F. Kennedy, Knights of Columbus Council #2952. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Jacqueline Thiemann; son & daughter-in-law; Fred Russell & Kim Thiemann; son & daughter-in-law, David Clark & Gi Yong Thiemann; grandchildren, John David & Kristen Chae Thiemann; sister-in-law, Leola Noltensmeyer Thiemann; sister-in-law & husband, Judy Migliaccie & John Baker; 2 nieces, Susan Tujague Fayard and Lisa Eggerton Pearson; nephew, Maxwell Baker; very special aunt, Margaret Corona. He is preceded in death by his brother, Allan Richard Thiemann. Friends will be received Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Monday, February 7, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home. Services will be held at St. Albert Chapel & Catholic Student Center, Monday, February 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., with Fr. Randy Cueves officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery.
