THURNER, J. J.
J. J. Thurner was buried in Greenlawn cemetery here on Tuesday.  He died
last Saturday at the Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.  He was a
native of Brookhaven, Miss.; went to Memphis 11 years ago.  Survivors
include his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Lynch Thurner; a daughter, Miss Elizabeth
Ann Thurner of Memphis; Miss Christine Thurner of Hammond, Ann Thurner of
Memphis; one son, John T. Thurner of Coosa Pines, Ala.; a brother, Louis
Thurner of Meridan, Miss.
