TIBBETS, DILWYN A.
According to word received here this week, Dilwyn A. Tibbets, 47, only son
of Mrs. Clara Meyerding Tibbets and the late Arthur Tibbets, of Chicago,
passed away on May 23.  Funeral services were held from the Lutheran church
in Chicago.  Many of the older residents of Hammond will remember the
Tibbets who were married here.  She was the daughter of Henry Meyerding,
who for a number of years operated the Hammond Ice Company, the first
artificial ice plant in Tangipahoa parish.
